Sports Betting
Sports betting is the name given to the general activity of predicting sports results, while betting on the believed outcome. Billions of dollars worldwide are involved in this form of gambling.
Perhaps more so than other gambling games, the legality and general acceptance of sports betting varies from nation to nation.
In addition, sports betting is often seen as a threat to the integrity of amateur and professional sport. The ability to fix matches and create a near-certain payoff is sometimes seen as a disincentive to fair play within sports leagues. More Sports Betting

- Attacking the base by a base runner when a force-out is not effective. This is accomplished by a player extending his momentum horizontally, either head or foot first, to try and touch the base before being touched with the ball.
- Strike zone
- The area in which a pitched ball is ruled a strike is covered horizontally by the width of the plate, and vertically by the distance between the player's knees and chest. More exactly the top limit is to be a horizontal line that is halfway between the top of the shoulders and the top of the uniform pants. The bottom limit is a horizontal line at the hallow just beneath the kneecap.

Squeeze Play: A bunt with a runner on third base designed to advance the runner home. The runner on third waits to ensure that the batter has successfully laid down the bunt before advancing towards home.
- Suicide Squeeze
- A hit and run bunt with a runner on third base. The runner breaks for home as the pitch is delivered and the batter attempts to lay down a bunt. Since the batter does not wait to ensure that the batter has made contact before breaking, he will be tagged out if contact if not made.
T
